How do Automatic Software Work?

Automatic Software believe that their customers should be able to buy software written for them just as easily as if it was off-the-shelf. To that end we always work in the same way. We meet a customer who needs to solve a specific problem. If there is no economic existing solution, we specify a custom written solution in a detailed report, with screen shots, a price and a delivery time. There are no extras at Automatic Software, we guarantee our price and delivery time, even if there are unforseen problems with the coding. As far as the customer is concerned, we deliver exactly what they ask for, when they need it.

But is it cost effective?

We will be the first to admit that it is not always cost effective to commission custom software. Having said that, if something written for you will save hours of tedious, repetitive operations, or will drastically reduce transmission times of files over a modem connection, then the savings start to look obvious.

Equally, even if there already exists a solution, it can still be cost effective to have one written for you, either because you need many copies of it, or because we can design your software to perfectly meet your needs, with no concessions.
