How do I attach one story
to multiple layouts, and keep from editiing all those versions?
Automatic Software present Special Edition XT for QuarkXPress with
QPS. Special Edition XT is the only way to create editions based upon
one article, even across multiple Dispatch Servers.
Simple
Special Edition XT is so easy to use. Simply
check out a layout, select the 'Make New Edition' menu option, and you
have a new layout, with all text boxes still connected to their original
article file.
Powerful
Because Special Edition XT can work across
multiple Dispatch Servers, and has a user interface instantly
recognisable to anyone familiar with QPS, multi-zoning or editioning of
the same article is suddenly possible. It doesn't need editing twice
(let alone three, four or five times) for each edition, there is only
one copy of the article at any time. In the secondary layouts, it is
locked, that is, until you make is local and assign it - just like any
other article.
Easy to run
Special Edition XT requires no
configuring, no administration, and no special folders to set up. Just
install and run, and cut your copy editing time.
Special Edition XT runs on Macintosh and PowerMacintosh and
requires QPS 1.1 to current.
To order
Special Edition XT costs in the order of £5,000 for a site
license. To find out more or order, simply call Automatic Software on (+44) 20 7354 7515, send eMail to
